چکیده

Aim: This study was conducted with the aim of to determine relationship between trunk control and walking time-distance characteristics capacity in children spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Method: The included 14 palsy, aged 7-13 years, who were Level I-II according Gross Motor Function Classification System. Trunk assessed Control Measurement Scale (TCMS; static, dynamic, reach, total score). Temporo-spatial gait evaluated a posturography device NeuroCom Inc. by means force-plate, step length (cm), width speed (cm/s) right-left symmetry (%) evaluated. Walking modified timed get up go test (mTUG). Relationships variables Spearman’s Correlation linear regression analysis. Results: According correlation analysis, there significantly negative good static subscale TCMS mTUG (r: -0.754; p<0.01), excellent dynamic reaching subscales scores (respectively r=-0.837; -0.861; -0.872 p<0.01). Additionally, positive correlations length, wide 0.624; 0.690; 0.720 p<0.01); length; moderate score r:-0.872; 0.677; 0.585; 0.626 predictor all except velocity; (R2 = 0.796; 0.394; 0.303; 0.027; 0.320). Conclusion: results this show importance on CP.

Dynamic Balance During Gait in Children With Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy Versus Normal Children

Purpose: Cerebral Palsy (CP) can negatively affect dynamic stability in children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy during walking. This condition results in a high risk of falling. There is limited evidence regarding the dynamic stability of children with Cerebral Palsy. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the dynamic stability of children with spastic diplegic Cerebral Palsy, compared to ...

Posterior walker assisted on gait performance in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy

To make children who may lose some basic skills to accomplish walking or may have delayed in walking development is a very important issue. Gait in these children may exhibit the following characteristics: poor motor control, poor balance, muscle strength insufficiently, and muscle incoordination. Their mobility may depend upon the use of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, etc. These aid...
